Kevin Zefi set to swap Inter Milan for Roma

The former St Kevin's and Shamrock Rovers 18-year-old has represented Ireland up to U19 level.

Ireland underage star Kevin Zefi is set to complete a move from Inter Milan to Roma. 

The former St Kevin's and Shamrock Rovers 18-year-old, who has represented Ireland up to U19 level, was linked with Newcastle in the summer. 

Zefi is represented by former Ireland defender Stephen Carr and there have been no shortage of suitors for the player when it became clear Inter were ready to allow him leave.

Despite promising early performances in Milan, Zefi has struggled to progress at the club. 

It was thought a return closer to home might suit him, but he has now opted to stay in Italy with fellow Serie A giants Roma about to complete his signing.
