Northern Ireland international Conor Bradley was "buzzing" after playing his part in helping Liverpool overcome Arsenal in their FA Cup third round clash at the Emirates on Sunday.
The Tyrone native emerged from the substitutes bench in the 76th minute and with the tie finely poised at 0-0, he was tasked with containing the lively Gabriel Martinelli.
The right-back earned rave reviews for his cameo as Jurgen Klopp's side booked their place in the fourth-round and speaking to the club's official website, he admitted it was "brilliant" to play his part.
"Just buzzing to get on the pitch and help the team in any way I could. I'm just buzzing to get through to the next round. Brilliant," beamed Bradley.
"I just tried to force him (Martinelli) inside. As soon as I came on, Trent told me to force him inside and he'll be there to cover me. So any time he tried to take me on, I just tried to do that. I think I did alright against him, so I'm happy!"
Bradley signed a new long-term deal with Liverpool back in December to further extend a spell with the club that began when he joined in September 2019 from Dungannon United.
After progressing through the Academy ranks, the 20-year old made his senior debut against Norwich City in the Carabao Cup in September 2021.
With Liverpool still fighting on four fronts - the Premier League, Europa League, Carabao Cup and FA Cup - the talented youngster is likely to enjoy more minutes in the months ahead.
