Evan Ferguson's rapid rise from St Kevin's to Bohemians to Brighton & Hove Albion to the Republic of Ireland is a well known tale around these parts.

But in an effort to make their own fans more aware of the incredible progress their star striker from Meath has made in just a few years, Brighton have recorded and released a documentary titled "From Bohs to Men: The Remarkable Rise of Evan Ferguson."

And the description of the video, which can be watched below, is as follows: "The story of Ferguson's journey from Ireland to the Premier League, documenting his time at St Kevin's, his debut for Bohemians aged just 14, his move to England to join Brighton & Hove Albion and his debut for the Republic of Ireland."

The 13 minutes and 22 seconds long clip opens with Ferguson expertly curling the ball into far bottom right corner from distance for the second goal of his memorable hat-trick against Newcastle United, which saw him join an elite list including just Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen and Chris Bart-Williams to net a Premier League treble at the age of 18, before it returns to St Kevin's where it all began.

There the Seagulls media team spoke with Karl Lambe, - the Head of Small Sided Games at St Kevin's Football club - about their young prodigy, whom he worked with for "the best part of eight years."

Along with photos of Ferguson playing for the club at a young age, there's interviews with a player he came up against and some of the goals he scored on his way to securing a move to Bohs, where he linked up with Derek Pender, who discusses his ability and playing with his father, Barry.

The documentary continues with more clips of his well taken strikes, most of which perhaps have never been seen before, but this time in a Brighton shirt as well as an interview with his Albion underage coach Andrew Crofts.

The film concluding with the thoughts of some Ireland fans and those aforementioned coaches, all of whom believe it is only a bright, interesting start to what is likely to be a brilliant career for Evan Ferguson.
