REPUBLIC of Ireland under-21 captain Joe Hodge has been ruled out of this month's matches against Norway and Italy due to a shoulder injury.

Hodge has had surgery and his manager at Wolves, Gary O'Neil, has revealed the 21-year-old could be sidelined for up to three months.
