Erik ten Hag gave his Manchester United players 24 hours to savour their derby victory over the weekend before focusing minds on Wednesday’s trip to Crystal Palace.

United moved to within a point of neighbours Manchester City after Saturday’s 2-1 win and have the opportunity to climb above them, temporarily at least, when they head to London for the rearranged match against Palace.
