Gary Neville says it is “embarrassing” that it has taken so long for the Premier League to offer a rescue package to struggling EFL clubs.

A £50million bailout offer comprised of grants and interest-free loans to League One and Two clubs was rejected on Thursday by the EFL, which is seeking a solution which helps Championship clubs as well.
