Waterford call for full investigation into FAI handling of Europa League expulsion

Waterford will lose out on at least €240,000 in prize money

Waterford FC have called for a full investigation into the FAI's handling of their ejection from the Europa League.

The Blues released a statement claiming they were "totally misled" by the FAI over their prospects of being admitted to the competition. They say the circumstances around this are "unclear and dubious".
