Man City meet buy-out clause for Aymeric Laporte

Athletic Bilbao have announced that the buy-out clause in Aymeric Laporte's contract has been paid, with the defender now seemingly on the verge of joining Manchester City.

The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a €65million (£60m) move to the Premier League leaders, with reports saying that he was due to travel to Manchester on Monday.
