Manchester City suffered an immediate bump to earth after their famous Champions League win over Barcelona, with Middlesbrough grabbing a late 1-1 draw at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola's side were the only one of the Premier League's top three in action today and looked to have scooped maximum points, albeit narrowly, thanks to Sergio Aguero's effort just before half-time - his 150th for the club.
