Leicester striker Jamie Vardy equalled a Premier League scoring record with his goal just before half-time against Newcastle at St James’ Park on Saturday.

The goal meant he joined Ruud van Nistelrooy in having scored in 10 consecutive fixtures, matching the figure set by the Dutchman in 2003 while at Manchester United.
