There was a fairly dull game at the Hawthorns today where the talking point will be an unsavoury incident involving James McClean just after the match ended.

According to James Hunter, a football correpsondent with the Chronicle, the Republic of Ireland midfielder provoked the Sunderland fans just after the final whistle was blown.

McClean, who played for Sunderland until 2013, was then surrounded by players from both sides as Danny Graham confronted the West Brom player.
