Saints reject Utd bid for Schneiderlin

Southampton boss Ronald Koeman has told Manchester United they will need to improve on their initial offer for Morgan Schneiderlin if they want to sign the French midfielder this summer.

Koeman confirmed the Saints had received a bid from Old Trafford for Schneiderlin, who was absent from the club’s first training session of the new season on Monday, but said “it wasn’t serious”.
