VIDEO: Charlton tribute as Ireland v England kicks off

The Republic of Ireland and England match is underway at the Aviva Stadium.

The sides meet in Dublin for the first time since the infamous 1995 clash, with Martin O'Neill naming an experimental side for the game as Westwood starts in goal.

Coleman, O'Shea, Wilson and Brady line the defence. McCarthy, Whelan and Hendrick are in front of them, with McGeady, McGoldrick and Murphy leading the line.

The stadium crowd heard an 'Olé, Olé' tribute to Jack Charlton played out, which prompted a standing ovation from both sides, while Big Jack himself faced cameras pitch-side.

Roy Hodgson has named a strong England team, with Sterling, Rooney and Lallana spearheading the attack.

There are also two Liverpool players in midfield, with Henderson and Milner all handed starts alongside Jack Wilshere.

A defence of Jones, Cahill, Smalling and Bertrand line out in front of Joe Hart.

Update 2.10pm: The second half is just getting underway at the Aviva Stadium in the international friendly between the Republic of Ireland and England.

The best chance of the match so far has come from Daryl Murphy after a searching kickout from Keiran Westwood landed at the Ipswich man's feet.

However, it's still scoreless in Dublin for now.
