Respite for Wenger as Arsenal through to knockout stages

Arsenal put their recent troubles behind them tonight as they beat Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium and qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League with a match to spare.

The Gunners have endured their worst start to a domestic campaign for 30 years, and are eighth in the Premier League following Saturday's 2-1 home defeat by Manchester United.
