Little girl in miraculous escape during stadium shelling

Incredible CCTV footage from the Donbass Arena in Donetsk shows a young girl avoiding certain death from flying debris by inches.

Despite there being a ceasefire in place between Russian separatists and the Ukrainian forces, the stadium suffered a direct hit from a shell on Monday.

A young girl is walking across the concourse in front of the stadium when the footage shows her, and another person in camera shot, ducking as if reacting to a sound.

Seconds later a large section of glass and frame break completely away from the building and crash to the ground, landing inches away from from the girl.

The other person races to her aid and despite appearing to be showered in flying glass the girl is able to stand and run away to safety.
