Shay starts for Ireland
Shay Given has been handed a 126th Republic of Ireland cap against Oman after coming out of international retirement.
The 38-year-old Aston Villa keeper starts in Ireland's final friendly before they launch their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign in Georgia on Sunday, while there is also a place for Everton midfielder Darron Gibson for the first time since he suffered a cruciate ligament injury against Kazakhstan in October last year.
Derby defender Richard Keogh has been handed the captain’s armband with Robbie Keane named among the substitutes, with Wigan keeper Ali Al Habsi leading out Oman.
