Vidic returns for Villa clash

Under-pressure Manchester United manager David Moyes welcomes captain Nemanja Vidic back from suspension for today’s must-win match against Aston Villa at Old Trafford.

Vidic replaces Rio Ferdinand at centre-back, while Alexander Buttner, Ashley Young, Darren Fletcher and Shinji Kagawa came into a side that contained five changes from the line-up that lost 3-0 to Manchester City on Tuesday.

Aston Villa make two changes from the team that lost 4-1 to Stoke, with Ciaran Clark and Marc Albrighton replacing Nathan Baker and Karim El Ahmadi, who miss out because of a thigh injury.
