Villa wait on El Ahmadi

Aston Villa midfielder Karim El Ahmadi is a doubt for Saturday’s Barclays Premier League clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford due to a thigh problem.

The injury forced El Ahmadi to come off in the first half of the 4-1 home loss to Stoke last Sunday and Villa boss Paul Lambert has said the Morocco international is “struggling” ahead of the trip to Manchester.
