FA fine Everton for defender approach

Everton have been fined £45,000 and warned as to their future conduct after making an unauthorised approach for Nottingham Forest’s highly-rated young defender Jamaal Lascelles in 2010, the Football Association has announced.

Everton have been sanctioned after breaching the FA’s football agent regulations.
