Sherwood seeks talks about Tottenham future

Tim Sherwood plans to talk about his future with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy today after Glenn Hoddle and Louis van Gaal put themselves in the frame for the vacant manager’s job.

Having sacked Andre Villas-Boas following last weekend’s 5-0 humiliation by Liverpool, Spurs put head of football development Sherwood in temporary charge of first-team affairs.
