A Premier League footballer was forced to abandon his luxury sports car after following his sat-nav down a muddy track while driving to a match.

Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom, who is currently on loan at Derby County, got lost on his way to the Championship side's 3-0 home victory over Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
