Welbeck setback for United

Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck has been ruled out of Sunday’s Premier League showdown with Arsenal at Old Trafford.
Welbeck has been missing with a knee injury since the middle of October and manager David Moyes has confirmed the 22-year-old will not recover in time to face the leaders.
Jonny Evans may return after a back problem, whilst Robin van Persie will almost certainly face his old club despite missing a penalty following his introduction as a substitute into the midweek Champions League draw with Real Sociedad.
Provisional squad: De Gea, Lindegaard, Amos, Rafael, Smalling, Jones, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evans, Evra, Fabio, Valencia, Nani, Fellaini, Carrick, Cleverley, Giggs, Anderson, Young, Zaha, Januzaj, Kagawa, Rooney, Van Persie, Hernandez.
