Benteke and Clark set for Villa return

Christian Benteke could return to Aston Villa’s starting line-up against Everton tomorrow following his recent hip injury.

The Belgian striker returned to action as a substitute in last week’s 2-0 Barclays Premier League defeat by Tottenham and is likely to start against the Toffees at Villa Park.

Defender Ciaran Clark is available after missing the Spurs match due to illness, leaving long-term absentees Jores Okore (knee), Charles N’Zogbia (Achilles) and Gary Gardner (back) as Paul Lambert’s only casualties.
