Dalglish takes up Liverpool role

Former Liverpool player and manager Kenny Dalglish has returned to the club as a member of the board – 17 months after being sacked as Reds boss.

The iconic Anfield figure has accepted an invitation to become non-executive board director and will take up his position with immediate effect.
