Gerrard: Suarez should repay reds

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard believes Luis Suarez owes it to the Merseyside club to stay for at least another year – and to only leave at all if he was making a “step forward”.

The unsettled Uruguay striker went public with his grievances after a second bid of £40,000,001 by Arsenal, which they thought should have triggered his departure, was rejected by the Anfield club in July.
