Ireland striker Stokes released by gardaí investigating 'assault on Elvis impersonator'
Republic of Ireland striker Anthony Stokes has been released from police custody after being arrested over an alleged assault on an Elvis impersonator.
The Glasgow Celtic footballer was questioned about an incident at a nightclub in Dublin on June 8, hours after an international between Ireland and the Faroe Islands in the Irish capital’s Aviva stadium.
