Xavi questions Bale price tag

Barcelona midfielder Xavi is unsure whether Real Madrid are right to be chasing Gareth Bale for a fee reported to be in the region of €100m.

The Tottenham forward has been Madrid’s object of desire throughout the summer, but Xavi does not appear to share Real’s valuation of the Welshman, and confessed he had barely watched him in action.
