Gerrard encouraged by 'exciting names' at Liverpool

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is excited by the club’s quartet of new signings and hopes they will improve the Reds’ chances of returning to the Champions League.

Manager Brendan Rodgers has already done deals for Manchester City defender Kolo Toure, Sevilla midfielder Luis Alberto, Celta Vigo forward Iago Aspas and Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
