Vice chairman Karren Brady feels a lucrative new kit deal on the back of signing England striker Andy Carroll shows West Ham mean business next season.

The 24-year-old centre-forward yesterday finalised what is understood to have been a £15.5m deal, plus a further £2m in add-ons as part of what could turn out to be an eight-year stay.
