Fergie exit no surprise to Wenger

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger feels the signs were there as early as last summer that Alex Ferguson would call time on his Manchester United reign this season.

Ferguson, 71, announced last week he was to retire after more than 26 years at the helm at Old Trafford, where he will be succeeded by Everton boss David Moyes.
