John Terry starts in defence alongside midfielder Frank Lampard, with David Luiz pushed forward to accommodate the captain, while Victor Moses is also included in a side showing four changes following last weekend’s draw at Liverpool.

Ryan Bertrand, Oscar, Juan Mata and John Obi Mikel drop to the bench, while Swiss champions Basle field the same starting XI which began the second leg with Tottenham.
