Bale joins Spurs injury list

Tottenham forward Gareth Bale will miss Sunday’s Barclays Premier League game against Everton after he suffered an ankle injury in last night’s draw against Basle.

Winger Aaron Lennon and defender William Gallas will today have scans on the respective knee and calf injuries they suffered against the Swiss champions.

Midfielder Sandro (knee), striker Jermain Defoe (pelvis), and defender Younes Kaboul (knee) are unavailable.
