Sweden coach Erik Hamren would prefer if the roof on the Friends Arena was closed tomorrow in their crucial World Cup qualifier against the Republic of Ireland in Stockholm.

Ireland boss Giovanni Trapattoni had expressed a preference for it to be left open but with temperatures forecast to dip as low as minus nine degrees during the match, the Swedish Football Association wants to improve the experience for fans.
