Inter fined for Balotelli slurs

Inter Milan have been fined €50,000 after a section of fans racially abused AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli during Sunday night’s Milan derby, the Lega Serie A have confirmed.

The Lega took action after the 22-year-old was subjected to “racially discriminatory chants” by a section of Nerazzurri fans at the San Siro, while several supporters were seen waving inflatable bananas towards the Italy international.
