Cork City delighted Turner's Cross as they hammered runaway Irish League leaders Cliftonville 4-0 in the pick of last night's Setanta Sports Cup first round, first leg clashes as the cross-border competition got under way.

Gearoid Morrissey sent Tommy Dunne's Leesiders on their way with the lead goal on 16 minutes. Fellow midfielder Ian Turner added a second from a penalty ten minutes later before getting his second of the night in first half stoppage time.
