Reina missing for Reds; Hoolahan on the bench for Norwich

Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Reina missed the visit of Norwich with a thigh strain while Martin Skrtel was dropped as veteran centre-back Jamie Carragher to make his first Barclays Premier League start since November.

Brad Jones came in with new signing Daniel Sturridge starting after two goals in as many games, with manager Brendan Rodgers’ fourth change from Sunday’s defeat at Manchester United seeing Jordan Henderson replace Joe Allen.

Norwich also made four changes with Jonny Howson returning from injury and Elliott and Ryan Bennett and Grant Holt also coming in.
