Ameobi brothers start for Newcastle

Brothers Shola and Sammy Ameobi will line up together as Newcastle make five changes for today’s FA Cup third round tie at Brighton.

Striker Papiss Cisse has been omitted from the squad altogether and Rob Elliot starts in goal in a weakened team that demonstrated manager Alan Pardew’s priority is the Premier League.

Brighton name winger Will Buckley, who has been struggling with a hamstring injury, on the bench.
