Early break adds to Sneijder questions

Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder has edged closer to a potential January exit from the San Siro after being sent on his Christmas break ahead of schedule.

The Nerazzurri face Verona in the Coppa Italia tonight and then take on Genoa in Serie A on Saturday before a two-week winter break begins but the Holland international, along with fellow midfielder Philippe Coutinho, has been dismissed from club duties early.
