Andre Villas-Boas has promised Tottenham’s disgruntled fans their team will not produce a repeat of yesterday’s horror show against Wigan when they travel to Manchester City next weekend.

Spurs went in to yesterday’s clash having won five of their previous six Barclays Premier League games, but they put on a terrible display against the Latics.
