AVB wants window shut early

Andre Villas-Boas has added his name to the growing list of managers who think the transfer window should close before the start of the season.

Villas-Boas is expected to be one of the busiest managers in the Barclays Premier League today as he looks to snap up at least two new signings and off-load a number of players before tonight’s 11pm deadline.
