Big money Sunderland pair set for league debuts

Adam Johnson and Steven Fletcher could both be handed Barclays Premier League debuts for Sunderland at Swansea tomorrow.

The pair, who signed for the Black Cats a week ago today, started Tuesday night’s Capital One Cup second round victory over Morecambe and will hope to retain their places for the game at the Liberty Stadium.

Phil Bardsley (ankle), Wes Brown (knee) and David Vaughan (ankle) remain on the sidelines, while Ahmed Elmohamady has joined Hull on loan.
