A terrific second half goal from Ronan Finn earned Shamrock Rovers a vital 1-0 win at Derry City to relief the pressure on under fire manager Stephen Kenny.

The only goal of the game came on 54 minutes as attacking midfielder Finn surged forward to crash a stunning shot to the net in off the underside of the crossbar.
