Scapuzzi to stay with City - Agent

Manchester City forward Luca Scapuzzi will remain at the club next season despite being linked with a return to Italy, according to his agent.

Reports claim new Roma coach Zdenek Zeman has been monitoring the 21-year-old, who made a pair of appearances for Roberto Mancini’s side in the League Cup before loan spells at League

One side Oldham and Championship strugglers Portsmouth.

“Luca will remain at Manchester City,” Scapuzzi’s agent Giuseppe Riso told www.tuttomercatoweb.com.

“He will join City in pre-season training.

“Zeman’s interest? He likes the player but we have never spoken.

“Luca’s aim is to confirm himself at City.”

Scapuzzi began his youth career at AC Milan and joined City from Portogruaro last summer.
