Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni will name his squad for the upcoming friendly against Bosnia and the European Championships today.

Sunderland’s James McClean is likely to be included, with Trapattoni having given the midfielder a 90 to 99% chance of making the squad.

It is being reported that McClane will go in place of a senior player who is unable to travel for personal reasons.

The squad will be officially announced at 3:30pm this afternoon.
