Dundalk face Bohs without defensive duo

Dundalk will host Bohemians tonight at Oriel Park looking to build on their impressive victory at the Brandywell last week.

The Gypsies are bidding to put their surprise home loss to Monaghan United behind them.

The two squads are amongst the youngest in the Premier Division and both outfits appear to be developing into exciting groups.

Dundalk defensive pair Liam Burns (ankle) and Derek Foran (back) are out and Chris Shields is suspended for the next two games.

Brazilian defender Hernany Macedo continues to wait on a work permit while striker Mark Griffin (groin) is close to a comeback but will not be ready for this game.

Bohemians have a doubt over Karl Moore (shoulder) and Derek Pender (hamstring), but Dwayne Wilson has returned from a family event in Australia.

Bohemians boss Aaron Callaghan: "There will be a lot of strange results this season and there will be ups and downs for lots of clubs.

"We've dusted ourselves down, done some really good work on the training ground and we'll go to Dundalk to get a win."
