Kean set for Samba talks

Blackburn boss Steve Kean is planning to sit down with Christopher Samba today and is confident the defender will be ready to play a key role in Rovers’ bid to avoid relegation.

The club captain missed his third straight game in last night’s 2-0 defeat by Newcastle following the rejection of his transfer request.
