Kapo signs for Auxerre

Auxerre have signed former France winger Olivier Kapo on an 18-month contract.

The 31-year-old, who spent five years with AJA at the start of his career, has been a free agent since unsuccessful short spells with Scottish Premier League side Celtic and Qatar’s Al-Ahli last season and has been training with Auxerre since the start of the month.

Kapo, who previously played in England for Birmingham and Wigan, will wear the number 10 shirt at the Stade Abbe Deschamps.
