McEachran set for Swansea debut

Loan signing Josh McEachran is set to go straight into the Swansea squad for tomorrow’s BPremier League trip to Sunderland.

The teenage Chelsea midfielder arrived in south Wales on Monday and could be handed an immediate chance to impress, while fellow midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson is pushing for a start after an excellent second-half performance in the win over Arsenal.

Manager Brendan Rodgers has no new injury worries, but the game comes too soon for long-term absentee Alan Tate (broken leg) who made a second appearance for the reserves in midweek.
