QPR swoop for Macheda

Manchester United striker Federico Macheda has joined QPR on loan until the end of the season, the London club announced today.

The 20-year-old becomes Neil Warnock’s first signing of the January transfer window and will wear the number 33 shirt at Loftus Road.

Macheda spent a similar stint with Sampdoria in Serie A last season and hopes to gain valuable first-team experience during his time in west London.
