Blackburn manager Steve Kean has revealed Martin Olsson has an “outside chance” of recovering from a hamstring injury in time to face Manchester United at Old Trafford on New Year’s Eve.

Rovers have a chronic injury list, which leaves 10 senior players either doubtful or definitely missing.
